Beaufort Park, Hendon

The development is set within a 25-acre site that historically was home to the RAF Hendon Aerodrome site. Beaufort Park is a mixed-use development on the former RAF East Camp and consists of multiple residential apartment blocks.

Challenge

The development consists of a mixture of residential dwellings, landlords’ spaces, retail and multi-level basement car parks, all needing different design solutions and principles. The project aimed to provide the Stage 4 design of the building services including all mechanical, electrical and public health services.

Solution

With the use of LED lighting, full integration with site-wide electrical and communications infrastructure, and provision for active electrical vehicle charging and air conditioning on penthouse apartments the site has delivered a thriving, future-proof development.

Outcome

Beaufort Park is North West London’s most dynamic destination developed by St George, with designs provided to give a community feel and exclusive facilities and fully landscaped gardens.
